Hot Spiced Cacao & Chocolate Making

Hot Spiced Cacao

serves 1


1 tsp coconut oil – I used Buy Wholefoods Online

1 tbsp agave nectar

2 tsp cacao powder – I used Buy Wholefoods Online

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

pinch chilli powder

1/2 tsp orange oil

2 tbsp rose water

1/2 cup (125ml) water


  1. Add the coconut oil into a pan on a medium heat to melt. Then, add in the agave nectar, cacao powder, cinnamon and chilli. Mix together until smooth.

  2. Next, add in the orange oil and rose water. Stir together. Then, add in the water in parts, stirring together as you pour it in so that everything blends together. Once everything is smooth and well mixed, keep on the heat until the drink has reached your desired temperature.

  3. When this is done, remove the cacao from the heat, pour into a mug and serve.
