I am so excited to write this post, because it features two of my favourite things … art and chocolate! The reason I’m featuring the two of these things together today, is because I recently received some beautiful gifts from the illustrator, Daniel Mackie, which included some lovely coasters and cards from his range, The DM Collection.

Rich Hot Chocolate
serves 1-2
Ingredients
1 cup (250ml) almond milk (or any other plant-based milk)
4 tbsp dark chocolate chips – I used Real Food Source’s 67% sweetened with coconut sugar
1/8 tsp vanilla powder
soy whip, to top
cinnamon, to top
extra chocolate chips, to top
Method
Pour the milk into a small pan and place onto a low-medium heat. Add in the vanilla and stir together. Heat through for about 1-2 minutes until hot. Then, remove the milk from the heat and add in the chocolate chips. Stir everything together until the chocolate has completely melted.
When this is done, pour the hot chocolate into a glass to serve, and top with some soy whip, cinnamon and chocolate chips.
